Christian Louboutin. the king of the red soles, sues the Yves Saint Laurent house because they designed a shoe with red sole. The master has trademarked the design in 2008, and since then he has won a lot of sues like this one. The shoe we talking about is the YSL 'Palais' (on the picture), the shoes are available in black, beige, purple and green colurs. Since January, Louboutin said in the suit, he has asked luxury company Yves Saint Laurent America, a subsidiary of the Gucci Group, to stop selling red-soled shoes in the same select Manhattan stores as he does. Louboutin wants 1 million dollar from YSL, and everyone is thinking that he will get it. Since 1991, when Loboutin opened his first store, his soles are red, and they has become synonymus with the name Christian Louboutin and high fashion. I think it's a bit childis, but Louboutin is right, the red soles are his trademark, YSL should figure out something else!
